Worship, discussion groups, Bible study, volunteer projects and outdoor activities are included in this varied ministry. Oxford Fellowship sponsors a Fall Retreat for all Oxford students, staff and faculty at the beginning of the academic year. A Spring Spiritual Life Retreat focuses on spiritual development. Tuesday night discussions are held at 6:00 p.m. in the Oxford Student Center. This ecumenical group works cooperatively with the Oxford Interfaith Council. Contact the Oxford College Chaplain, Rev. Religion and Health Connection

The Office of the Dean of the Chapel and Religious Life, the Interfaith Health Program of Rollins School of Public Health and the Religion and Health Collaborative and Center for Health, Culture and Society together sponsor THE RELIGION AND HEALTH CONNECTION. THE RELIGION AND HEALTH CONNECTION establishes a network for persons interested in both religion and health issues and explores questions related to the integration of physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of health. Emory faculty, staff, students and others from the Atlanta community gather over lunch to meet one another and hear speakers discuss interdisciplinary topics related to the well-being of the whole person.

Religious Life at Clairmont

The Office of Religious Life maintains a presence on the Clairmont Campus through the Religious Life Apartment (HP01). The apartment is located on the bottom floor of the building located at the other end of the pool from the Student Activity & Academic Center (SAAC). This is a place of gathering and reflection. Voices of Inner Strength Service Trip

Each year during Spring Break, students in the Voices of Inner Strength Choir participate in a service/learning project. VOIS members work, sing, and serve in an ecumenical setting with persons of a culture that is different from theirs. Upon returning to Emory, the choir members serve as ambassadors for ecumenical educational services and experiences. Contact Bridgette Young (404.727.6225, byoung@emory.edu).
