Spiritual Life Programs

Service being held inside of Cannon Chapel

The Emory University Office of Spiritual and Religious Life supports the university's religious and philosophical diversity by providing opportunities to engage with spiritual life on campus through worship, meditation, education, service, social justice, and interfaith engagement.

The Dean of Religious Life works with chaplains, staff, and affiliates representing various religious and philosophical traditions on Emory's Atlanta and Oxford campuses to support a diverse spiritual life program. Undergraduate and graduate/professional student organizations enrich the opportunities for spiritual community and practice on campus.

On the Atlanta campus, the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life has two locations: Cannon Chapel Suite 316, where the Office of the Dean is located, and the Alumni Memorial University Center (AMUC) Suite 125, where the other chaplains are located. On the Oxford campus, the Oxford College Chaplain is located in the Student Center.

Our signature programs include: Inter-Religious Council (IRC), Journeys of Reconciliation, Beloved Community Worship, Voices of Inner Strength Gospel Choir, Off the Record, Anatomy Lab Chaplaincy Program, International Student Coffee Hour, and Baccalaureate.
